Canada has made some important changes for international students. Let's break it down in simple terms:

🏫 Study and Work Balance
International students can now work up to 24 hours per week off-campus during school time. This is a bit more than before, but less than during COVID when there was no limit. During holidays, and the summer period, students can still work full-time. This change helps students earn income while focusing on their studies

📚 New Rules for Changing Schools
If you want to change schools, you must get a new study permit first.

🔍 Stricter Checks
Schools must now report twice a year and confirm students are still enrolled. This helps prevent misuse of student visas. If schools don't follow these rules, they could be barred from accepting new international students for up to 1-year

💼 After Graduation
There are new rules about who can work in Canada after graduating. These changes aim to match graduates with jobs where they're needed most

💰 More Money Needed
Students must now show they have more available finances before being accepted to Canada. This is to insure they can afford living expenses.
