The Start-Up Visa (SUV) open work permit allows entrepreneurs to work for any employer in Canada while building their start-up. It offers flexibility to supplement income, supports family reunification, and is valid for three years, renewable under specific conditions.

Eligibility Criteria 🛠️
To qualify, applicants must:

  • Apply for permanent residence under the SUV program.

  • Be an essential team member of their start-up.

  • Plan to live outside Quebec.

  • Show proof of personal and business funds.

Applicants need:

  • Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR) letter.

  • Letter of Support from a designated entity.

  • Proof of personal and business funds.

  • Medical exam and police clearance certificates.
